Dailybook Journal Diary App Reviews

I really like it. Its great for journaling, which I would imagine is what it was designed for. I havent used it enough to find out how much memory capacity it has. I havent found out anything about it that I dont like.

With Dailybook my own thoughts can be enhanced by cutting and pasting quotes from other apps or sites. I can add pictures from my photos or by clipping and pasting from sites. Dailybook even adds in the weather for each day when I have enabled locations on my device. One of the nicest features is that I can create any number of tags and add them to my entries. Later, I can search, calling up all entries with a common tag. This is useful when I want to review my thoughts or find quotes relating to a certain topic. I could never do this with a handwritten journal. In short, I am loving this app and would recommend it to anyone.

Love the app, easy to use and upload pics, user for almost 3 years. Love having one place to go back and review memories and photos. I can record my personal thoughts, feelings and memories that I wouldnt share to Facebook.

Like this app a lot but would love it if I could sync the entries between my iPad and iPhone. If the developers take care of that I will give it 5 stars. I like to use the app to plan trips and then update during the trip with photos and memories.

Its very useful application for recording your dairy. Also I use as organizer and best Memory recording.

I would have given the APP 4 stars, but had so many problems correcting sentences and trying to "swipe" vertcally to go to the first thing I wrote, that I had to search, For a few days I rifused to use it! However the idea is good, the inserting of images is fast and clear, but really far to small (Yes I know if I click the image it becomes big) The fonts and bkgrounds are great. Ill review again after you (maybe) make an update. Oh was forgetting, another hard thing to get is when you click on the first word, or for that matter any word, the cursur goes where " it " wants to go not where you are trying to insert something! I have other Journals as I write a lot, in my opinion all have something that "doesnt" work but never have I encountered the above problems. Im using it on Ipad2 and the new IPad, just for your records.

Good for photos. It doesnt allow to send by mail all the diary. Sometimes, it crashes when you try to send the diary by email.

I rarely ever buy apps, however I felt that by paying for this one perhaps I could get more of what I am looking for. I really wish this also had a Windows app so that I could have easy entry. Also, sometimes during the middle of entry from my iPhone, the toolbar gets stuck in the middle of the page and I cant see what I am writing. That is really annoying and slows down entry in a big way.

I have used this app in the past and really like it. But now it is not functioning. I cannot start a new journal and the support page is no longer available. Any suggestions?

The Title says it all. How this App rates four plus Stars is a mystery to me? Attempted to run this on an iPad 3 with the new iOS update and plenty of memory to spare. Not functional. Deleted from iPad.

Interface needs some work. Icon to move keyboard down overlaps text when entries are long. When I tried to move cursor to end of line it kept closing the keyboard. Audio recording takes a lot of space, perhaps some compression would be good. Also found that when doing audio recordings with a password enabled as soon as the screen locks all audio stops and all recording is lost. The rest seems well thought out and nicely done. I look forward to future updates.

Audio. Video. Typing. All integrated. The interface is a bit clunky but it offers so much to do, it just takes a bit to get used to. Not sure how much space it takes up with all that media but that would go for any similar app. Love it.

Use this every day.

Greatest app ever! Suggestion would be video and you should be able to decorate/give wallpapers to your books. :)

This is a fun, easy to use, app. When you have a memorable moment that you want to be able to look back on, this app allows you to quickly capture it with a photo and a caption. Certainly a must have for parents.

I purchased this application to use as an audio journal but that functionality is very limited. You cannot record while the screen is locked. If you unlock your phone and go back to the app it is nonresponsive and the screen is greyed out. Which means to use it and record an audio journal requires that you hold the phone up to your mouth to speak or at least have the app active on the phone. I wanted to be able to place it in my pocket and wear headphones while recording but this is not an option.

I decided to start a journal to keep track of family events as my memory is not as clear as it used to be. Looked at several diary/journaling apps before I found this one. I like the fact it automatically imports location and weather information. Automatic time and date stamps were nice as well. Importing photos was easy. The interface is clean and doesnt get I your way. Typing has been straightforward and it is easy to browse or search past entries. I wish it would have some flexibility in placement of photos. For now, it only places them ahead of any typed text. Since I started several months ago, I have found it very easy to pull up the app and record my thoughts. It may not have as many features as other journaling apps, however, it is very good at what it does,allowing you to write without getting I. Your way.
